HAVE YOU GOT A YEAST INFECTION ? Read Natural Cure Yeast

Hi, I’ve written this blog because I was pretty much were you are right now….
….trying my best to find a real and practical!, Natural cure to relieve my Candida Yeast infection! To add to my troubles I was also dealing with what I’ve since discovered is ‘recurring Yeast Infections’. It would clear up for a while only to return weeks later :-( . I wanted a tried and tested Plan! Something were I didn’t need a Degree to follow effectively! and…oh yes personal help – someone to give me a few pointers along the way. Sound like a tall order? After you read to the end of this short article you may be amazed, I was!

Well here’s how I got my lucky break…

…One day in my search for relief, I got so peeved and frustrated at not finding any real information, that I called my friend, who is big into natural remedies and asked her advice, and here is what she showed me!

So it’s official. You’ve managed to get yet another yeast infection! Do you scratch the article or scream with frustration first? Once you’ve made that decision, the next one should be how you’re actually going to get rid of it! You know there are plenty of over the counter medications and creams available, but what if you want to try something different? Something a little more eco friendly? There are ways to cure a yeast infection without medicine; you just need to know how.

Most women who have suffered with a yeast infection before will know the early warning signs. An itching crotch or inflammation “down below,” sometimes accompanied by a burning sensation when peeing and an unhealthy looking discharge, are a few of the symptoms. Using natural remedies for a yeast infection early is a must so that the infection is neutralized before it gets any worse and has to be treated with medication. One well known remedy is natural non-sweetened yogurt. Don’t make the mistake in thinking that it has to be eaten in order to work. (Trust me, it happens!) Spread it over your vulva and try to insert it if possible into the vagina. Do this a couple of times a day and it will usually ease the infection.

Another home remedy for yeast infections are cranberries. Drinking cranberry juice at the first sign of an infection will help to flush your urinary tract out. It also helps to lower the acidity of your urine, making it less painful to go to the bathroom. If your infection is more severe, then use cranberry juice in conjunction with other yeast infection home remedies, such as yogurt.

A lot of women who prefer natural yeast infection cures swear by garlic, because it has a natural antifungal make-up that hates yeast. By peeling a clove and wrapping it in some gauze with some un-waxed dental floss tied to one end, gently insert it into the vagina as deep as you can get it. Do this last thing at night and leave the clove in until morning. Sometimes it may be necessary to insert a fresh clove in the mornings if the infection is severe. Continue doing this until one or two days after the infection has cleared up. Some women also choose to apply garlic oil to the vulva, although this is more commonly used to treat other types of yeast or skin infections. It sounds like a crazy idea, but it has been scientifically proven to be one of the most effective home remedies for yeast infections.

A douche solution made up of water and white vinegar, lemon, or vitamin C is also a good homeopathic remedy for yeast infections. Even though they are not particularly suitable for a “healthy vagina,” they can bring relief to an unhealthy one. Care should always be taken when using douches however, because they have been known to scratch or damage the vaginal wall, which in turn can lead to more serious infections.

Natural Cures for Candida

For most people over the counter remedies for yeast infections, are often a first approach. However a growing number of women today prefer to use more natural cures for Candida. They have many reasons for their decisions, ranging from wanting to be more “eco-friendly,” to simply liking the fact that they can be more active personally in their own bodies. With more homeopathic remedies and advice being readily available, there are many ways in which a woman can let nature assist her in getting her body back on track.

Candida often occurs when the numbers of “good bacteria” in the body reduces in number. This can happen for a number of reasons such as long term medications, the wrong fitting clothes, or even too much sex. If a woman is prone to outbursts of Candida, there are things she can do to try and prevent it. But if it’s too late for prevention, and a natural remedy is sought, sometimes she only has to look as far as her kitchen to find the solution. Garlic and natural yogurt are well known for their healing properties as far as yeast infections go, but they are just two of nature’s remedies when combating Candida.

Tea tree oil is a popular natural health remedy used to treat Candida infections. When used with garlic oil and inserted into the vagina it can act as a fungicide and a natural healing aid. It is worth noting that tea tree oil should always be diluted prior to insertion as it can irritate the vagina walls if left undiluted.

Another winner in the homeopathic cure debate is apple cider vinegar. There are a myriad of ways that this little gem can be used as a natural cure for Candida. Pour 1 ½ cups of apple cider into a lukewarm bath and soak for about half an hour a day until the infection has cleared up. This solution can also be used to douche with twice a day, although some women experience slight stinging when they first use it. It is also a wonderful (and I can’t stress this enough), wonderful way to stop that awful itching that nearly always accompanies Candida. Pour a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar onto a washcloth and hold it under tap water until it’s saturated. Place it directly onto the genital area, and breathe a sigh of relief! Apple cider vinegar can also be mixed with water and drunk to help to combat yeast infections from the inside out.

For another weird and wonderful natural medicine, try dipping a tampon into a solution of 15 grams of potassium sorbate (this can be found at most wine making stores) and 1 pint of water. Insert the tampon into the vagina and leave overnight. Some people have stated that there is no way this can work because of the natural chemicals in the potassium sorbate, but other women swear by it. As with all remedies, what works for some will not necessarily work for all. In most cases it will be a case of trial and error to find the best solution for you.

Organic Cures for Yeast Infection Lasting Relief

Organic Cures and Remedies are available to help sooth the uncomfortable effects a Yeast Infection.  There are numerous over the counter remedies to help clear up yeast infections and offer lasting relief. Your doctor or pharmacist will no doubt be able to recommend at least half a dozen. But sometimes people want to go beyond just pop pills or use medicated lotions and creams. They want to go back to nature and find an organic cure for yeast. There are plenty of natural remedies that can be found just by looking on the Internet, and most offer good advice, although care should always be taken when trying something for the first time.

One little known way to help organically treat yeast infections is with the use of unrefined virgin coconut oil. It has natural anti-fungal properties which help to reduce the acidic levels within the body. Yeast infections occur when acidic levels rise, so lowering those levels helps to neutralize infections. Organic unrefined coconut oil contains Caprylic acid (also found in breast milk), which helps to strengthen immune systems as well as the added benefit of having natural anti-fungal and antibacterial properties.

Organic coconut oil can be used in many ways, and all have the same natural healing benefits. It can be used when cooking by adding it to steamed vegetables or stir-fry. It is also delicious when used to make smoothies. It can be used as a butter substitute or used as a primary cooking oil. Even though it is slightly more expensive than regular coconut oil, it is a definite investment on the health of your body. Garlic is also a wonderful natural cure for yeast infections, and if it’s combined with unrefined coconut oil its healing powers are increased even further.

Most health food stores will be able to advise on organic treatments and/or supplements to help combat Candida, and a popular supplement has proven to be Grapefruit Seed Extract. There are a few variations of this, and some will contain garlic or Wormwood. All of them are designed to kill the yeast, but some leave an unpleasant taste in the mouth. Which one is used is all down to personal preference. A study into the natural healing properties of Cayenne pepper has shown that it is full of Vitamins A, B, and C, as well as being rich in potassium and organic calcium. As such it is said to be beneficial to people with high levels of yeast.

Pau D’arco tea is also a wonderful organic remedy for helping to alleviate the symptom of yeast infections. Used primarily to help cancer patients, it has also been proven to be effective when used by Candida sufferers. Calendula is an herbal remedy made from a pot marigold, and can be used to soothe skin infections and as a natural anti-inflammatory. When made into a tea, it can help reduce symptoms of thrush internally. Reishi mushrooms have also been shown to have healing properties and help to boost the immune system as well as helping to heal ailments such as a yeast infection. They are available fresh or as a supplement from health food stores.
